Arriving to Ljubljana
By air
Most of our tours start and end in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. If coming here from North America, Australia or other overseas countries, you must first fly to one of the large European towns and from there catch a connecting flight to Ljubljana. Some of those towns are: Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Zurich, Vienna or Amsterdam.
Less popular are Brussels, Prague or Rome. From there you can take Adria Airways, the Slovene Airline, to Ljubljana. Also consider some other airlines that fly to Ljubljana. Find the full list here.
Many air ticket websites or agents will book the international flight and the Adria Airways flight on the same ticket. Air France is also a good option as it is partnered with several North American airlines and flies direct to Ljubljana from Paris.

By train
Alternatively, you can fly to Munich, Venice, Vienna or some other big town close by and take a train to Ljubljana. This is a good alternative if you would like to spend some time visiting these cities before or after the tour. You will find a list of towns to consider on Slovenian Railways website.
