For the riders seeking a good adventure in Eastern Europe we introduce the Romania Bulgaria Adventure for the 2012 season. Both countries are very rich in their local folklore, still very authentic and tourist free. They both boast magnificent historical and cultural heritage and offer a great mixture of mysterious monasteries, castles and citadels dating back in time.
From Bucharest we ride into the majestic Carpathian Mountains and through preindustrial landscape filled with rural villages where time moves at a surreal pace. We'll visit famous Brashov, Sighisoara and Sibiu before riding the two spectacular roads; famous Transfagarasan Road and equally challenging Transalpina, the highest road in Romania. We continue to Bulgaria, the unpolished Balkan jewel and spend a few days on the coast of the Black Sea relaxing on some of the nicest beaches in Eastern Europe.
